Sanpete County

Sanpete County. I took this picture while driving down to Sanpete County for the funeral of Charlie’s nephew Wesley. Sanpete County is located in the central part of Utah just over two hours south from Salt Lake. The valley is beautiful year round and this weekend was no exception. We got several inches of snow Friday morning and luckily most of it melted off by the afternoon. Charlie’s sister told me that once you enter Sanpete County, time slows down and you go back a many years to another time.

  1. It’s a beautiful drive down there! I enjoyed doing the drive once a month for 7 months last year for therapy… too bad the trip for you guys wasn’t an enjoyable one. Again you are all in our thoughts and prayers. So sorry for the loss in the family. I know sorry doesn’t do any good
And what Charlie’s sister said about time slowing down while you’re there, so true!
I love the southern part of Utah, it has a different feel than the northern part some how…

  2. We went to Sanpete County (Moroni) every year for vacation and Kristin has been there many times. I have herded thousands of sheep in Sanpete! Your pictures are beautiful Farook!
